On Delaware Ave the folks came out to hear Dominick announce

That he will run again and with their help he'll surely trounce

Any Johnny-come-lamely hapless sap that City Hall recruits

To be their sacrificial lamb. Poor slob; they give two hoots

About the slings and arrows that will rain down on his head

And leave him wondering why to slaughter he let himself be led.

The lawn signs they'll be coming out, displayed with warmth and pride.
