Sunday, 23 March 2008
COLONIE - The state Thruway Authority plans a public hearing to get comments on the authority's proposed toll adjustment and multi-year capital plan from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the William K. Sanford Town Library, 629 Albany Shaker Road, Colonie.
A sign-in period begins 15 minutes before the start of the hearing, for people who want to speak.
Thruway staff will answer questions beginning at 6 p.m. Testimony will be taken beginning at 6:30 p.m. for those wishing to speak publicly.
To allow everyone adequate time to participate, people wishing to speak at the hearing will be asked to limit their comments to five minutes, and are asked to bring copies of their testimony, the Thruway authority said. The staff will also accept written testimony at the hearings for those who do not wish to speak publicly.
